Evolve CG is calling for entries in its first annual student contest –The Hunter. This challenge will be open to all students currently enrolled in any computer graphic art or animation program (at any college or animation school), or who has graduated within seven months of entering this challenge.
The Hunter challenge asks participants to study and create the ultimate Hunter character/scenario. Is it a human, creature, or not even of this planet? We want to know everything that makes them so effective at tracking their prey. Things like, what type of gear or weaponry they use that enables them to be the best at what they do? Where are their hunting grounds located- is it some far off distant out back planet or a future earth? Etc. Just make sure to depict it all through your work, and in your final piece.
Now, for those entering, we have created a forum designed to house this creative process. This platform- we hope -will give students the unprecedented opportunity to interact and share- both their art and process -with other students from all over the country. So let the hunting begin!
